Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- It has been revealed that a shooting took place during the incident where a couple was fatally stabbed at a house in the Wadigala area of Hungama, Ranna.
This discovery follows the recovery of a bullet consistent with a locally made 'Gal Katas' firearm from the body of the deceased woman.
Police confirm that four suspects, including the main accused, have been arrested in connection with the crime, and the 'Gal Katas' firearm allegedly used in the shooting has also been recovered.
The victims were staying at a friend's house in Ranna when five masked individuals entered the premises and carried out the murder in the early hours of yesterday (07).
