Sri Lanka, Jan. 30 -- A proper programme for the resettlement of people still living in camps remains unavailable two months after Cyclone Ditwah.
Residents from several villages, including Narangala, Ambalakanda, and Samasara, visited the Disaster Management Centre to demand a solution for their continued displacement.
The cyclone triggered widespread landslides in the Aranayaka area, leaving many families without homes.
These individuals currently reside in temporary camps across villages such as Ganthuna Udagama and Bathalegala.
Executive member of the People's Struggle Alliance, Wasantha Mudalige, joined the group in seeking redress.
