Sri Lanka, Feb. 10 -- A discussion was recently held with the participation of representatives from various organizations of people with disabilities, facilitated by Sugath Wasantha de Silva, the country's first visually impaired Member of Parliament.
The meeting, chaired by Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, focused on a proposal submitted by these organizations outlining the challenges faced by their community and potential solutions.
