Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), who was arrested and remanded for illegal treasure hunting, has been identified at an identification parade.

The parade was held yesterday(01) after the officer was produced before the Anuradhapura Magistrate's Court.

Following the positive identification, he was further remanded until the 8th of this month.
