Sri Lanka, Dec. 17 -- The yellow anaconda hatchling that went missing from the Dehiwala Zoo last Saturday, had been found this morning (17) under a drawer, a few meters away from its enclosure.
The officials found the anaconda after three days and three nights of search.
The hatchling was handed over to the zoo as a responsibility by the customs as it was found while being smuggled and transported from India along with 05 other snakes.
Speaking to Hiru, the Deputy Director of the zoo, Kasun Hemantha Samarasekara, stated that the snake's keeper has been suspended by the Director of the department and further investigations into the incident are ongoing.
