Sri Lanka, Feb. 22 -- Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal (Retired) Sampath Thuyacontha has revealed that armed forces personnel with weapons training who are deserting the Tri-Forces have a greater likelihood of engaging in criminal activities and join underworld gangs.
Speaking at a special press conference at the Government Information Department today (22), he stated that an order has been issued to arrest such individuals, assuring that both the military and police are capable of tracking them down quickly.
