Sri Lanka, April 18 -- Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka has been signed by Gujarat Titans (GT) as a replacement for the injured Glenn Phillips for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

Shanaka, who previously played for the Titans in 2023, joins the squad for approximately USD 87,800.

Phillips sustained a groin injury while fielding during a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and has been ruled out of the tournament, returning home to New Zealand.

Shanaka has prior IPL experience, having played three games for GT in one season, scoring 26 runs but not bowling at all during that time two seasons ago.
