Sri Lanka, March 5 -- Daisy Forrest was arrested by the CID after arriving to provide a statement regarding an alleged money laundering incident.

She is scheduled to be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court, police confirmed.

Daisy Forest, grandmother of Yoshitha Rajapaksa, was questioned by the CID this morning in connection with a money laundering investigation. Following the questioning, she was arrested and is scheduled to be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court later today.
