Sri Lanka, April 23 -- A consignment of kush and hashish with an estimated value of 154.55 million rupees has been intercepted by Customs officials at the Colombo Central Post Office.

The drugs were being received through the International Express Mail Service.

Customs officers reported that the parcels containing the narcotics had been dispatched from the United States, England, and Spain.

The seized parcels contained 12.67 kilograms of kush and 1.85 kilograms of hashish, with intended destinations including Negombo, Kadana, Kataragama, Ganemulla, Malabe, and various areas within Colombo.

Furthermore, the consignment also included electronic cigarettes and chewing gum manufactured using kush.
