Sri Lanka, May 27 -- Sri Lanka stocks were mixed on Monday (26), with the All Share Price Index gaining by 1.78 points, to end the day on 16,496.24 points.

The S&P SL20 Index, meanwhile, dipped 3.14 points, ending the day on 4,838.94 points.

Turnover for the day was Rs. 3.8 billion.

108 companies contributed positively to the ASPI, while 88 companies saw declines.

Among the top positive contributors, Ceylon Cold Stores recorded a turnover of Rs. 108 million from 1.11 million shares traded.

Hemas Holdings, Hayleys, Dialog Axiata, and Browns Investments also made notable positive contributions, supporting market sentiment.

John Keells Holdings led the declines with a turnover of Rs. 61 million, from 2.9 million shares traded.
