Sri Lanka, Sept. 13 -- The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has recorded a profit of Rs.18 billion for the first half of 2025.

According to the company's Managing Director Mayura Netthikumara, the profit will be used to fund several new projects aimed at developing the petroleum sector.

Among these plans is the construction of an aviation fuel pipeline from the Muthurajawela terminal to Katunayake Airport.

The project is expected to significantly improve fuel logistics and support aviation operations.
