Sri Lanka, Jan. 29 -- Fort Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura today (29) ordered that the case involving former Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa and others, related to the alleged misuse of vehicles provided to the National Freedom Front by the Presidential Secretariat, be recalled on June 25 for the advice of the Attorney General.

The Criminal Investigation Department informed the court that the case, involving five individuals including former Parliamentarian Mohamed Musammal, the media spokesperson of the National Freedom Front, had been referred to the Attorney General for advice. Musammal, along with Sarath Weerawansa, Senaratne de Silva, and others, appeared in court.
