The order followed a courtroom revelation where the complainant admitted he was not abducted but had accompanied the accused individuals voluntarily.

The incident began when the individual claimed that two men on a motorcycle intercepted him near a bank in Pokunuwita, kidnapped him to a deserted quarry, and assaulted him before dropping him near his home.
