Sri Lanka, Jan. 30 -- Fort Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura has ordered that the case filed by former IGP Pujith Jayasundara over charges of criminal coercion and intimidation against an elevator operator at the Police Headquarters be adjourned until February 19 for a decision.
When the case was taken up, the magistrate informed that the case file had been referred to her predecessor, Colombo Chief Magistrate Tanuja Lakmali, for a ruling.
The former IGP was present in open court during the hearing.
