Sri Lanka, May 17 -- A woman and a man have been injured in a shooting incident that occurred in the Kotahena area.

Police report that the shooting took place at a residence on Sumithrarama Mawatha in Kotahena, carried out by an individual who arrived at the house.

The injured woman and man have been admitted to the National Hospital for treatment, according to police sources.
