Sri Lanka, Jan. 23 -- Indictments against former Minister Chamara Sampath Dasanayake were filed in the Colombo High Court regarding corruption allegations.

The Bribery Commission informed the Colombo Magistrate's Court of this development today during a hearing before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama. Following this notification, the Magistrate concluded the proceedings within the Magistrate's Court. The court then ordered the suspect to appear before the High Court once he receives a formal notice.
