Sri Lanka, July 18 -- The corruption case filed by the Bribery Commission against former Minister Chandrani Bandara has been scheduled to be called again on July 28 by the Colombo High Court.
The case was heard today (18) before Colombo High Court Judge Sahan Mapa Bandara.
The High Court Judge ordered the case to be recalled on the 28th of July to allow the defence to submit the requested documents.
The Bribery Commission has filed 11 charges against the former minister under the Anti-Corruption Act.
The indictment states that between January 14, 2019 and January 31, 2019, the former minister allegedly committed the offence of "corruption."
