Sri Lanka, July 24 -- The Companies (Amendment) Bill, No. 7 of 2007, was passed in Parliament yesterday (23) with amendments.

The second reading debate on the Companies (Amendment) Bill was held today from 11.30 am to 5.00 pm, and the Bill was passed without a vote.

The Companies (Amendment) Bill, No. 7 of 2007, was presented to Parliament for first reading on June 5.
