Sri Lanka, April 23 -- A three-member investigation committee has been appointed to look into the removal of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon.

The committee will be chaired by Supreme Court Justice Preethi Padman Surasena.

The other members are Justice Neil Iddawala and Chairman of the National Police Commission, Lalith Ekanayake.
