Sri Lanka, May 18 -- Investigations into the incident where the vehicle of former National Lotteries Board Director Thusitha Halloluwa was shot at are handed over to the Colombo Crime Division.

4 teams of the CCD are investigating the incident, and CCTV footage is being used to determine the whereabouts of the assailants.

Halloluwa, who recently made controversial allegations regarding the President, was travelling with his lawyer after a meeting, when two individuals on a motorcycle intercepted their vehicle.

Police report that one of the individuals fired several shots at the car, and both Halloluwa and his lawyer were assaulted.

Further, the assailants had also made away with a file containing documents from Halloluwa's possession....
