SriLanka, Nov. 17 -- A special circular placing the full responsibility for freeing state institutions and schools from drugs on the respective heads of those institutions will be issued today.

Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala made this statement.

The gazette notification stipulates that if drug traffickers are present within any institution, the relevant heads are responsible for taking legal action against them.

Furthermore, if individuals addicted to drugs are present, the heads are responsible for directing them toward the rehabilitation process.

He made these remarks while attending the Kalutara District Operational Council meeting of the 'A Nation United' national operation.
