Sri Lanka, Sept. 29 -- The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today requested permission from Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama to take a statement regarding the mobile phones belonging to Sadhika Lakshaani, the wife of 'Backhoe Saman', who is currently being held in remand under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
The CID informed the court of this development this morning (29) by submitting a motion.
The CID stated that they need to remove the face ID password on the two mobile phones that were seized from the suspect at the time of her arrest.
