Sri Lanka, Aug. 29 -- The Anuradhapura Additional Magistrate, P.H.W.D.L. Samarasinghe, today (29) ordered the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to take steps to expedite the advice of the Attorney General regarding the investigation into the shooting of former Anuradhapura District MP Udhikka Premarathna's car.

The order was issued when the case was called before the court.

The CID informed the court that the investigation reports were submitted to the Attorney General's Department for instructions on February 17, but advice has not yet been received.
