Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- The Criminal Investigation Department has found that Ishara Sewwandi, who is accused of aiding and abetting the murder of alleged underworld figure Ganemulla Sanjeewa, fled to Dubai just days after the killing.

This information was revealed during the interrogation of another alleged crime leader, Kehelbaddara Padme.

Kehelbaddara Padme has reportedly confessed to police that he used a fake passport under the name Aditya Abhimana to leave the country due to threats from Ganemulla Sanjeewa and warrants issued for his arrest.
