Sri Lanka, June 26 -- China has agreed to provide 20 million USD in funding to support a project aimed at the digital transformation of education in Sri Lanka.
This project will supply necessary equipment to 500 selected schools and establish a model smart classroom.
It also includes plans for setting up a network operations management unit, a programme operations centre, and a conference room.
Both parties agreed to expedite the implementation of this project during President Anura Kumara Dissanayake's official visit to China in January.
