Sri Lanka, Jan. 14 -- Venerable Walawahangunawewa Dhammaratana Thero, the Chief Incumbent of the Mihintale Rajamaha Viharaya, issued a strong statement criticising the education reforms introduced by the government. He claimed to maintain personal ties with U.S. President Donald Trump and expressed his readiness to meet him to discuss how the current administration is allegedly leading the country toward ruin.
The Thero emphasised that the proposed educational changes will cause significant damage to the national schooling system. He asserted that he possesses the necessary channels to reach Donald Trump and intends to use those connections to bring international attention to the situation in Sri Lanka.
