Sri Lanka, July 28 -- The Colombo High Court has ordered the case filed by the Bribery Commission against former Minister Mervyn Silva, who is accused of illegally acquiring assets during his tenure as a minister, to be called on September 24.
The case was called today, (28) before Colombo High Court Judge Sahan Mapa Bandara.Lawyers for both parties requested the court to refer the case for a full pre-trial conference.
Accordingly, the court ordered the case to be called for a pre-trial conference on September 24.
