Sri Lanka, April 4 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption announced that it will soon file cases against certain high-ranking officials in the current government.
Director General of the Commission, former High Court Judge Ranga Dissanayake, made this statement during a press conference held in Colombo today (03).
He also cautioned politicians against making defamatory remarks about the Commission and its ordinances, stating that legal action could be taken in such instances.
The press conference was held to raise awareness about the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan, which is scheduled to be launched on April 9.
