SriLanka, Nov. 5 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has announced the commencement of an asset and liability verification process concerning over 350,000 public officials.

This group includes heads of State institutions, executive officers, and senior government officials.

CIABOC confirmed that a significant number of asset and liability declarations from this vast number of senior government officials have already been submitted to the Commission.

The Commission is carrying out this verification and investigative work based on the information provided in these declarations.
