Sri Lanka, Sept. 13 -- The alleged gunman in the fatal shooting incident at the Sirisara Uyana playground in Borella was arrested by the Police STF, yesterday (12)

The STF found 10.71 grams of 'ICE' drug, and a motorcycle, which were in his possession.

The suspect, aged 34 years old, was handed over to the Damana Police Station for further investigations.

Initial investigations have revealed that the suspect deserted the Army in 2015.

The shooting incident which occurred in Borella on August 07, left two individuals dead and three others injured.
