Sri Lanka, Jan. 28 -- The Sri Lanka Vehicle Importers Association predicts a slight decrease in the prices of vehicles such as double cabs, following the issuance of a new gazette notification on vehicle imports.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in his role as the Minister of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, issued an extraordinary gazette permitting the import of four vehicle categories: passenger buses with fewer than 25 seats, vans with 10 to 16 seats, double cabs, and lorries.
