Sri Lanka, June 29 -- The body of one of the two fishermen who went missing after their multi-day fishing vessel capsized off Tangalle's Paraviwella harbour has been recovered this afternoon (29).

Police stated that the body, identified as a resident of Pallemalala, Hambantota, was found trapped inside the fishing vessel after it was brought ashore.

The vessel had gone out for fishing from Tangalle's Paraviwella harbour when it met with the incident.

Four fishermen were rescued at the time, while two were reported missing.

Search operations are still underway to locate the remaining missing individual.
