Sri Lanka, July 17 -- The Batticaloa Municipal Council today (17) unanimously passed a resolution calling for an international investigation into the mass grave discovered in the Chemmani-Sithupathi area of Jaffna.

The resolution, proposed by Duraisingham Madan, a member of the Ilankai Thamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK), received support from all members present, including the 9 members of the National People's Power (NPP).
