Sri Lanka, Feb. 11 -- The Trincomalee High Court Judge N.M.M. Abdullah today (11) ordered the postponement of the bail hearing for Balangoda Kassapa Thera and the group remanded in connection with the Trincomalee Buddha statue incident until 3:00 PM.

When the case was called, State Counsel Kalana Kothalawala, appearing on behalf of the Attorney General, informed the judge that the bail application was strongly opposed. He argued that the case cannot be considered a special circumstance warranting bail.
