Sri Lanka, June 3 -- A 15-member delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Australia, Richard Marles, arrived in Sri Lanka last night (2) for an official visit.

Marles is expected to pay courtesy calls on President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism, Vijitha Herath.

He will also meet Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, who will be the Chief Guest at a special luncheon hosted at the Australia House.

The Deputy Prime Minister will also hold bilateral discussions with Deputy Minister of Defence Retired Major General Aruna Jayasekara.
