Sri Lanka, Oct. 15 -- Attorney-at-Law Gunarathna Wanninayaka has been released on two personal bails of Rs. 500,000 each.

This occurred when he appeared before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court today (15).

The incident involves an altercation that took place on October 10 at the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court between Wanninayaka, several other lawyers, and a police constable who was on duty.

The police constable involved was subsequently arrested on charges of assaulting a lawyer and was ordered to be released on bail by Mount Lavinia Magistrate Pasan Amarasekara the day before yesterday.
