Sri Lanka, July 20 -- The deadline for submitting appeals for the 'Aswesuma' welfare benefit programme is tomorrow (21).

It's reported that nearly 30,000 applications have already been received for the second phase of 'Aswesuma'.

Appeals can be submitted to Divisional Secretariat offices, after which they will be forwarded to the Welfare Benefits Board for review.

The review of these appeals is scheduled to begin after tomorrow's deadline.
