Sri Lanka, June 17 -- The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka has granted an Air Operator Certificate to David Peiris Airlines yesterday, authorising direct domestic flights between Ratmalana Airport and Jaffna International Airport.

Utilising a Cessna-280, the service will cut travel time to 1 hour and 20 minutes.

David Peiris Aviation can now commence regular schedule flights, Charter Flights, Private Flights and Aerial Works.
