Sri Lanka, June 13 -- Anuradhapura Prison Superintendent Mohan Karunaratne has been remanded until June 23.

This was when he was produced before Anuradhapura Chief Magistrate today (13).

He was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department on June 8 over the illegal release of a prisoner using the Presidential pardon.
