Sri Lanka, Dec. 17 -- Doctors at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital are conducting a token strike starting this morning (17), claiming they lack adequate security.
The immediate cause for this action was the discovery of several empty firearm shell casings in a trash bin located near a medical hostel a few days ago.
This was stated by Dr. Shashika Vithanage, North Central Provincial Coordinator of the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA), during a press conference held today.
