Sri Lanka, March 3 -- A retired soldier from the Army Intelligence Unit, arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department in connection with the abduction and assault of journalist Keith Noyahr, has been released on bail.The suspect was produced before Mount Lavinia Additional Magistrate Hemali Halpandeniya today (03) and was granted bail on two sureties of Rs. 500,000 each.Recently, two other Army Intelligence Unit officers arrested over the abduction and assault of Noyahr on Dehiwala Medical Road on May 22, 2008, were also granted bail by the court.
