Sri Lanka, July 26 -- Another suspect has been arrested over the killing of a pregnant deer in the Heenuggala forest reserve in Galewela in Makulugaswewa.
Three unlicensed firearms were also recovered during the operation.
Dambulla Assistant Superintendent of Police M.M. Chandrasiri stated that the suspect was apprehended following interrogations of the three individuals, including two police sergeants, who were arrested yesterday.
All four arrested suspects are scheduled to be presented before the Dambulla Magistrate.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police added that disciplinary action will be taken against the two arrested police officers in due course.
