Sri Lanka, March 21 -- The resolution submitted with regard to the reconciliation and accountability process in Sri Lanka co-sponsored by 5 countries including Great Britain and Germany is to be officially presented at the 40th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council today.

The future implementations of Sri Lanka pertaining to reconciliation and accountability towards promoting human rights is included in the resolution, and is to be collectively presented by Canada, Germany, Macedonia, and Montenegro.

The group also presented the resolution on Sri Lanka which was passed in 2015 at the UNHRC.
