Sri Lanka, Aug. 31 -- Five alleged organised criminals, including notorious criminal Kehelbaddara Padme, have been detained and interrogated after being brought back to Sri Lanka from Indonesia.
Three of the suspects are being held by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), while the other two are in the custody of the Western Province North Crimes Division at the Colombo Port Police Station.
The group, which includes Kehelbaddara Padme, Commando Salintha, Panadura Nilanga, Thambili Lahiru, and Backhoe Saman, were arrested on 27 August in Jakarta, Indonesia.
They were brought to Sri Lanka on a SriLankan Airlines flight last night at around 7.30 p.m.
