Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- The Kalutara Crime Division has seized a car and a large quantity of allged chemicals and equipment from a resort in Hambantota, suspected of being used to produce the drug "ICE".

The discovery was made based on information received from an individual known as "Embilipitiye Suranga," who is currently in custody under a detention order.

The seized items include 14 cans containing 52 liters of suspected chemicals, along with other equipment suspected to be used for "ICE" production.

A luxury car, registered to an overseas alleged organized crime gang member, was also taken into police custody.
