Srilanka, Dec. 15 -- A man was arrested with a stock of Kush drugs valued at approximately Rs. 200 million.



Officers from the Katunayake Airport Police Narcotics Bureau arrested the suspect last night (14) following a lengthy investigation into a drug trafficker who purchased the Kush stock in Bangkok, Thailand, and had it brought into the country by an alleged accomplice and concealed in his house.



Police state that the arrested 34-year-old individual is a resident of Wattala.

Police raided the suspect's house and found over 21 kgs of Kush drugs inside 20 packets in an unopened suitcase.

In addition, police further mentioned that a sum of USD 4,900 was found in the suspect's possession.
