Sri Lanka, May 3 -- Indian Instagram users have been left surprised after trying to visit the profiles of some of their favourite Pakistani stars, only to find they're now blocked in the country.

Big names like Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are among those whose accounts are currently unavailable.

Other Pakistani stars affected include Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas, Sajal Aly, Ayeza Khan, and Maya Ali.

These actors and singers are loved by Indian audiences and have a strong fanbase across the border, especially through popular shows and music available on streaming platforms.
