Sri Lanka, Dec. 26 -- The first flight of Kazakhstan's Air Astana for the winter season arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake last evening (25).

The aircraft, carrying 182 passengers and a crew of 08, was greeted by airport authorities upon its arrival.

This seasonal service is scheduled to operate twice weekly, with flights arriving every Monday and Thursday.

These operations will continue through March 31, 2026, facilitating travel for tourists visiting during the winter months.
