Srilanka, Nov. 16 -- The Attorney General's Department Legal Officers' Association unanimously passed a resolution strongly objecting to the proposed establishment of an Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions that would be separate from the functions of the Attorney General.

The resolution was passed at a Special General Meeting held on the 14th of November.
