Srilanka, Nov. 19 -- Nishantha Bandara Basnayake, the third suspect in three cases filed by the Bribery Commission against former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella for the offense of corruption, requested the Colombo Chief Magistrate, Asanga S. Bodaragama, yesterday (18) to temporarily lift his foreign travel ban.

He made this request to the court through his lawyers.

The Bribery Commission stated that they would only object to the lifting of the travel ban during the specified time period.

The Magistrate then inquired whether indictments related to this individual had been filed in the High Court.
